Mosra Energy Limited is advancing the Nasarawa Eggon Banded Iron Formation (BIF) project to unlock the high-grade hematite-magnetite deposits within the Alhamis Enze area of Nasarawa State. Preliminary studies show dense, high-purity BIF with over 55% Fe, low silica content, and excellent beneficiation potential for steel and industrial applications.
Located in a stable Precambrian sequence, the deposit’s consistent structure supports long-term, large-scale operations. The project, covering an 8.0 km² area, is currently in the exploration phase, with ongoing geological mapping, core sampling, and pilot drilling to define reserves and enable sustainable mine development.
